UHCOP Students Take Top Spot in Texas, Among Top 5 Colleges in Nation for ASHP Midyear Poster Presentations

Dec. 1 — University of Houston College of Pharmacy Pharm.D. students once again will be presenting the highest number of research posters among their Texas pharmacy school peers at the 2023 American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Midyear Clinical Meeting & Exposition Dec. 3-7 in Anaheim, Calif.

A total of 42 research posters accepted for presentation at the meeting were authored or coauthored by UHCOP students, comprising 2.3% of the meeting's 1,800 student posters and among the top five colleges nationwide.

The presenting student authors and their project titles were:

This marks the second consecutive year UHCOP students presented the highest number of posters at ASHP, with 33 posters presented at the 2022 meeting.
