The UH Libraries system provides users with access to more than 3.7 million physical and digital volumes and more than 136,000 physical and digital journals and other serial subscriptions. Resources include approximately 92,000 e-journal titles, 800,000 e-books, and 450 databases.
The circulating collections are continually updated and reflect the latest scholarship in a range of fields, including pharmacy, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, applied therapeutics, medicinal chemistry, toxicology, and other health-related disciplines. Additionally, interlibrary loan (ILL) provides access to more resources from libraries around the world.
All electronic resources, including e-journals, e-books, and databases, are accessible from anywhere with your CougarNet ID and password. Connect with the most relevant resources, including more than 1,000 e-books and more than 500 e-journals on pharmacy-related topics, via the Pharmacy Resource guide. Health Sciences Library, UH Campus
The Health Sciences Library holds a small physical collection of books, including current editions of core pharmacy titles, 12 laptops, and anatomy models, all available for in-library use and/or checkout. The space includes four group study rooms, 12 desktop computers, printing and scanning, Wi-Fi, a conference room, a classroom, a reading room, and a variety of study areas. Additionally, librarians with experience in the health sciences are available to support your research.

MD Anderson Library, UH Campus
The MD Anderson Library has over 300 computers divided between two labs. The Academic Research Center focuses on the research and study needs of users, while the Learning Commons caters to their high-end multimedia and collaborative study needs. The library also provides a variety of study spaces for groups and individuals, a Makerspace, electronic equipment for checkout, printing and scanning, Wi-Fi, a Technology Training Program, and more.
The MD Anderson Library houses collections of books, electronic books, databases, journals, and electronic journals in the areas of pharmacy, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, applied therapeutics, medicinal chemistry, and toxicology. Many textbooks are on reserve for library use, older editions are in the circulating collection, and electronic versions are accessible from databases. The circulating collection is continually updated and reflects the latest scholarship in a range of fields. More than 100 electronic books address pharmacy-related topics.
Access is available to more than 600 pharmacy-related, full-text electronic journals through the UH Libraries. A print collection of 92 journals is also maintained by the Library. Access to an additional 2,500 full-text medical journals is available when students apply for access to the HAM-TMC Library.

Texas Medical Center Library
The TMC Library collections are available in print and/or electronic formats, currently providing access to 7,103 electronic journals, 227 databases, 8,206 electronic books and 355,356 bound journals; online and in-person Reference and assistance; Interlibrary Loan (ILL); and computers, photocopiers and fax machines.
The University of Houston has ended its member status in at the TMC Library. However, limited visitor access is available once every seven days (does not include weekends). Visitors will be issued a Visitor paper name badge and will be allowed to use the internet at the Visitor stations for one hour every visit. The visit will terminate for the day after leaving the TMC Library. Upon request, the TMC Library can issue a temporary username/password for full access to its electronic collection during the one hour of computer use, NO REMOTE ACCESS. A state-issued ID is required for Visitor access.Library Hours:
