January 16 — A UH College of Pharmacy student organization is encouraging runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to step out to the 2020 Heart Hustle 5K at UH's Lynn Eusan Park Saturday, Feb. 1, and help support the American Heart Association (AHA).

Organized by the Operation Heart team of the American Pharmacists Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists Chapter at UHCOP, the event also will feature blood glucose and blood pressure screenings, educational presentations on heart health and cardiovascular disease prevention, and other family-friendly activities and games. The inaugural event in 2019 drew more than 150 participants and raised $2,400 for the AHA.

Attendees who do not have a valid UH parking permit will need to park in designated visitor parking areas and pay the appropriate parking fee. For more information on visitor parking, including locations and fees, please check the Visitor Parking page.
