Electronic State Business Daily (ESBD)

The Electronic State Business Daily (ESBD), managed by SPD, is the State’s online directory listing procurement opportunities.  Agencies are required to post procurements with a contract value of more than $25,000 to the ESBD.

Centralized Master Bidders List (CMBL)

Manufacturers, suppliers, and other vendors wishing to furnish materials, equipment, supplies, and services to the state should register for the Centralized Master Bidders List (CMBL) to receive bidding opportunities.

The CMBL is a master database used by the state of Texas purchasing entities to develop a mailing list for vendors to receive bids based on the products or services they can provide to the state of Texas.

System for Award Management (SAM.gov)

The System for Award Management (SAM.gov) is an official website of the U.S. Government. There is no cost to use SAM.gov. You can use this site to: 

  • Register to do business with the U.S. Government
  • Update, renew, or check the status of your entity registration
  • Search for entity registration and exclusion records
  • Search for assistance listings (formerly CFDA.gov), wage determinations (formerly WDOL.gov), contract opportunities (formerly FBO.gov), and contract data reports (formerly part of FPDS.gov).
  • View and submit BioPreferred and Service Contract Reports
  • Access publicly available award data via data extracts and system accounts

Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts

The Comptroller’s office serves virtually every citizen in the state. As Texas’ chief tax collector, accountant, revenue estimator, treasurer and purchasing manager, the agency is responsible for writing the checks and keeping the books for the multi-billion-dollar business of state government.

HP

HP allows for departments to order computers, laptops, tablets, servers, printers, peripherals and other technology products and services through DIR-TSO-4159 contract.  Departments must order HP products through our campus technology store, Cougarbyte/HiEd, or a HUB HP Reseller listed on the DIR website.
