Female Hygiene Drive

Metropolitan Volunteering Program (MVP) is hosting a Female Hygiene Drive. This is an initiative taken by the MVP organization to spread awareness in the UH community regarding female hygiene and underlining the importance. This event aims to spread awareness in the community, and debunk the myths that are synced with menstruation and period hygiene. The donations are going to be given off to SEARCH homeless non profit organization. SEARCH pursues a mission of providing hope, creating opportunity, and transforming lives of men, women, and children who are trying to break free from the cycle of poverty and homelessness. We bring this mission to life every day by helping our clients obtain permanent housing, increase their income, improve their health, develop their children, and ultimately achieve independence. The donations preferred but not limited to are:
- Sanitary Pads/ Napkins
- Tampons
- Hand sanitizers
- Bottled water
- Paper Towels/ Toilet Papers
- Laundry Detergent
Any of 1 or more items from this list will be very well appreciated.
The drop off location: Student Center North, the MVP office (Located in the student organization section of SC North).
