MVP Hygiene Kit Assembly

Wednesday, November 10, 2021

3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Star of Hope is a nonprofit dedicated to helping the homeless population in Houston, by meeting their basic needs and assisting them with services and donations. We are assisting them in their endeavors by assembling “We Care” packages, which contain hygiene items that meet immediate, daily needs while also offering the recipient shelter and hope as provided by Star of Hope.

We’ll be assembling these hygiene kits, which will be donated to folks experiencing homelessness on the streets by Star of Hope. These kits contain basic items, such as soap, toothbrushes, and shampoo, that we may take for granted, but can change day-to-day life and offer hope to folks facing homelessness. We will also be learning about homelessness in the wintertime and reflecting on how we can make minor differences in our community to combat homelessness.

This event will be held in the Bayou City Room in Student Center South from 3 PM to 5 PM.
