Houston Pets Alive!

Wednesday, April 26, 2023

10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Houston Pets Alive is an extraordinary rescue. They create programs to save animals most at risk of euthanasia. Their goal is to prevent animals from entering a shelter, and for those that do, get them out alive. They are a no-kill organization. This is a great opportunity for animal lovers as we have the potential to handle animals such as dogs and cats!

We will be helping out with a variety of tasks assigned to us which can range from bagging pet food, assembling adoption goody bags, organizing supplies, making toys, folding towels/blankets, and bathing dogs. Volunteers should be comfortable with animals and not allergic to any kind of pet hair.

Volunteers will meet at SC South at 9:20 AM and depart at 9:30 AM and arrive at the event site at 10:00 AM , and volunteer until 1:00 PM. Please indicate on the sign up form if you can provide carpool- we always need volunteer drivers! After the event, volunteers will return to campus and be back by 1:30 PM.

Please register by 4/25/23 by 11:59 PM. To register, complete the Google Form and we will contact you with more information.
