Memorial Park Conservancy Volunteering

Thursday, December 1, 2022

7:45 am - 11:00 am

The Memorial Park Conservancy Volunteering is an event aimed at maintaining one of Houston’s most iconic and popular parks. The garden has a wide variety of flora and flowers and even has a community garden to grow produce for the Houston Community. Memorial Park holds numerous events and has lots of works for volunteers to do.

We will be aiding the organization in cleaning up the park, which may include anything from gardening to cleaning trash! Volunteers will need to create an account, sign a waiver, and be prepared for rain or shine. Volunteers should be ready to get a little messy due to the nature of the projects. Also, volunteers should bring a cap and a bottle of water, as well as come in closed-toed shoes.

Volunteers will meet at SC South at 7:20 AM and depart at 7:30 AM and arrive at the event site at 7:45 , and volunteer until 11 AM. Please indicate on the sign up form if you can provide carpool- we always need volunteer drivers! After the event, volunteers will return to campus and be back by TBD.

To sign up, complete the Google Form and we will contact you with more information.
