The Beacon

The Beacon is a non-profit organization that serves the Houston homeless community through daily services, civil legal aid, counseling and mentoring, and access to housing. As volunteers we will be helping greet guests, lunch preparation and serving, and assisting with laundry.
Volunteers will meet at the front desk in Student Center South at 9:15am and depart at 9:25am and arrive at the event site at 10am, and volunteer until 1pm. Please indicate on the sign up form if you can provide carpool - we always need volunteer drivers! After the event, volunteers will return to campus and be back by 1:30pm.
