Dr. William H. Fleming

Dr. William H. Fleming is a nationally recognized neurologist. After completing his B.A. in zoology at the University of Kansas, Dr. Fleming attended the St. Louis University School of Medicine, receiving his medical degree. He completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic and Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota.

Dr. Fleming is active in various organizations. In 2002, he was elected as the 100th president of the Harris County Medical Society. He was the first African American to hold this position.

Dr. Fleming also has been the president of the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners, the Federation of State Medical Boards of the United States, and the Texas Neurological Society.

Currently, Dr. William H. Fleming is a member of the National Board of Medical Examiners, the American Academy of Neurology, the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, and the Houston Medical Forum.
