Shireen

Shireen Akram-Boshar is a PhD candidate in Global History. She completed an MsC in Labor, Social Movements, and Development at SOAS University of London with a dissertation entitled "Settler-Colonialism, Primitive Accumulation, and Precarious Workers: A Class Analysis of Palestine's First Intifada." Prior to this, she received a bachelor's degree in Africana Studies from Brown University. Shireen has also written for numerous publications; her writing has been published in Truthout, Tempest Magazine, Spectre Journal, and Jacobin Magazine. She is a contributor to the book Palestine: A Socialist Introduction with a chapter on the US-Israel relationship.
