Kadan

Mohamad Kadan is a PhD student in the History Department at Rice University. He holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from University College Dublin, where he specialized in Race, Migration, and Decolonial Studies. His academic journey began with a multidisciplinary undergraduate degree from Tel Aviv University. Kadan is the co-founder of the Edward Said Forum, a platform for Palestinian students in the Social Sciences and Humanities. He has authored numerous articles and essays in both Arabic and English, covering political, historical, and sociological topics. His scholarly contributions include several peer-reviewed studies in Arabic, with his most recent work, “Military Rule, Smuggling, and Border Making: Disruption and Restoration of Palestinian Relations on the Armistice Line,” presented at the Annual Academic Conference of Mada Al Carmel in May 2023.
