Erica Augenstein is a PhD student in the History Department at Rice University. Erica studies the Palestinian revolution from the perspective of intellectual history from the 1950s to the 1970s. Her dissertation research focuses on the history of the General Union of Palestinian Writers and Journalists. Erica received her MA in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Chicago and her BA from Cornell University.
