Arabic Placement/Credit

This placement exam is for University of Houston students and serves to assess students' level of mastery. The exam results are used for test credit, if eligible and to determine if students will be placed in ARAB 1501, ARAB 1502, ARAB 2301, ARAB 2302, ARAB 3301, or ARAB 3302.

Test Duration: 2 hours (writing section) & 1 hour (oral section)

Notes:

Students registered for the placement exam must be enrolled at the University of Houston to have credit awarded and must not be registered for the course for which credit is being attempted.
Students may receive a maximum of thirteen hours of course credit based on the test scores.
Test results will be available after ten business days.
