Auxiliary Services

Auxiliary Services at the University of Houston manages residential and retail food service; catering; vending services; retail leasing; merchandising; course materials; and the Cougar Textbook Access Program. We cater to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors. As an auxiliary operation, we are financially independent and rely on revenues from our programs to cover operational and capital expenditures.

UH Dining Debuts Fall Upgrades

From customized ramen bowls to expanded meal exchange access and the return of to-go meals, University of Houston Dining Services is rolling out several upgrades this fall designed to make dining on campus more convenient, flexible and responsive to student needs. Many of the changes were shaped by feedback from the Food Service Advisory Committee, which includes student, faculty, and staff representatives.

Dakota Rogers Wins New Professional Scholarship at NACAS South CX

Dakota Rogers, Program Manager II for Auxiliary Services, received the New Professional Scholarship at the 2026 NACAS South CX conference for his contributions to auxiliary services and support of UH students. As the recipient of the scholarship, Dakota receives a complimentary registration to the 2027 NACAS South CX in Clearwater, Florida.
UH Campus Store Goes Cashless

Effective Feb. 1, the University of Houston’s Campus Store is going cashless. Campus store shopgoers can pay via credit, debit, ShastaBUCKS, or ZIP. For those Coogs that only carry cash, use the Ready Credit ATM kiosk at the Student Center South, next to the Farmer’s Ridge vending machine. Simply insert cash, and receive an easy-to-use debit card.

The Office of Administration at the University of Houston is investing $6.75 million in transformative summer 2025 initiatives aimed at enhancing campus life through major upgrades to parking and dining services. These initiatives focus on advancing technology, improving security, and enhancing student experiences.
