The Division of Research’s Office of Strategic Research Communications received bronze awards for two major tactical campaigns from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Houston chapter at their annual Excalibur Awards presentation.

The Big Idea won bronze in the blog category, and Research Reaching Houston was recognized with a bronze in the website category. The awards were given at the 37th Annual PRSA Gala, entitled, “PR Like a Rockstar” at the House of Blues in downtown Houston on June 23, 2022.

The Big Idea answers questions around administration, compliance and innovation within the academic research enterprise. Research Reaching Houston is a repository of research stories focused on societal impacts in the City of Houston and the surrounding region. Both award-winning entries were spearheaded by the Office of Strategic Research Communications and continue to grow with new content added every month.
