Mentorship Program

Honors Mentors

The Honors College Peer Mentorship Program debuted in the fall of 2010 hoping to ease the transition from high school to college and enhance the entire freshman experience. The program aims to foster the new students’ sense of community within the Honors College and give them the resources necessary to successfully navigate both the social and academic aspects of college life.

By grouping incoming students with experienced upperclassmen as their mentors, students cultivate the relationships vital to a successful college experience. New students will meet their mentors for the first time at Honors Retreat, and a calendar of fun and exciting events gives ample opportunities for students to become a part of the Honors community.
