• Roof Area “I” – Roof Demolition is 75% complete, Base Sheet &Temp Roof is 75% complete and Sheet Metal is 15% complete.  Waiting on CO1 to move forward on Roof Area “I”.

•  Roof Area “A” – Roof Demolition is 100% complete, Base Sheet & Temp Roof is 100% complete, Insulation & Substrate Board is 100% complete, Modified Bitumen is  55% complete and Base Flashing is 25% complete.

• Roof Area “K” – Roof Demolition is 100% complete, Base Sheet & Temp Roof is 100% complete, Insulation & Substrate Board is 100% complete and Modified Bitumen is 75% complete.

• Roof Area “B” – Roof Demolition is 100% complete, Base Sheet & Temp Roof is 100% complete, Insulation & Substrate Board is  100% complete, Modified Bitumen is 51.25% complete and Base Flashing is 25% complete.

•  Roof Area “G” – Roof Demolition is 100% complete, Base Sheet & Temp Roof is 100% complete, Insulation & Substrate Board is  100% complete, Modified Bitumen is 100% complete and Base Flashing is 50% complete.
•  Roof Area “H” - Roof Demolition is 100% complete, Base Sheet & Temp Roof is 100% complete, Modified Bitumen is 40% complete and Base Flashing is 25% complete.

• UH scheduled to inspect the roof top on 12/21
• The Hilton Hotel will be closed from December 22 – January 2 along with  roof replacement operations; resuming on January 3.

• Preparation for Weather & Holiday closure:

  Texas Liqua Tech will conduct roof assessments as needed during this timeline.  UHPD has been notified

 12/18/2017

• Due to weather conditions today, Liqua Tech will not be conducting any operations today, December 18 or tomorrow, December 19.
• Materials and a Knuckleboom crane are being delivered and staged at the Hilton this morning at the loading dock from 7am-12:30p.m.
• Liqua Tech has assigned a flag man to assist with traffic control and ther Parking & Transportation Department has been notified.

11/20/17 – 11/24/17

• Significant moisture was discovered in the substrate during construction in Roof Area I resulting in Area I to be placed on hold pending a drone survey assessment. 
• Drone Survey scheduled for 11/14/17
• FPC, WPMP and Liqua Tech conference call scheduled for 11/17/17 with Derbigum Rep to determine next steps.
• Project has moved to Area A. 
• WPM indicated that the structural concrete deck at Roof A may potentially have surface moisture at localized areas based on previous infrared survey.  Liqua Tech to dry out concrete deck prior to roofing installation.
• Optimum noise level between 7am – 9am – Cutting/Scraping
• Protective fencing has been installed around the work zone to prevent pitching roof debris over the side while cutting.
• Knuckleboom Crane/Trailer to be delivered and stationed in the loading dock on Tuesday, November 21 from 7am – 9am to deliver materials.  No impact to pathways or driveways.
• Trash dumpster cover installed to mitigate dust and debris during demolition.
• No injuries reported.

11/6/17 – 11/10/17

• Liqua Tech is scheduled to deliver a knuckleboom crane via 35’ trailer on Thursday, Nov. 2^nd from 7am – 12pm to offload materials at the Northeast loading dock for the roof and will result in sidewalk closure and impact one lane of traffic running directly in front of the loading dock area. Construction Contractor to rope off  the targeted sidewalk area and provide flag men to direct traffic during the 4 hour timeline.

• Delivery and installation of scaffolding, platforms and hoist scheduled for Monday, October 23, 2017.

10-15-2017

• Hilton Replacement Roof Project construction start date is October 23, 2017.
• Substatiantial completion estimated for July 16, 2018.
• No utility outages anticipated.
• Unloading and installing scaffolding, cable hoist system, platform, safety rails and ramp at North East Loading Dock.
• Contractor to install certified temporary fall protection systems at all areas.
• Construction for each roof area will be closely coordinated with key stakeholders.
