UGC does not have a specific recruitment process as each organization has their own specific guidelines for new member intake. Each organization will host recruitment/rush events, which are informational sessions with the members of the respective organization. Individual UGC organizations will also host a variety of events ranging from service to social throughout the year. It is highly recommended for those looking to join a fraternity or sorority to attend these various events. The council will host a week of activities early in the fall and spring semesters. This is an opportunity for interested students to receive more information about all the organizations in the council and what is required to become a member.
