About Me

Aaron is Texas born and raised and grew up in a very small rural town in Central Texas. He is a proud first-gen student and the first in his family to graduate from a University. Aaron joined the Center for Student Involvement in February of 2026 as the Program Manager for Leadership and Civic Engagement. In his role, Aaron coordinates and oversees the Ignite Leadership Program, Impact Living Learning Community, Bingo to Beat Hunger, and other programs. His previous professional experience include Purdue University, Texas A&M University-San Antonio, and 12 years of working in the museum industry. Aaron is enthusiastic about supporting students with professional & leadership development resources, civic engagement opportunities, and encouraging them on their educational journey with a community-minded mindset. Aaron is a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Harry Potter, and Taylor Swift and his hobbies include camping, thrifting, and reading a good suspense novel or historical fiction.

Aaron has been active with CliftonStrengths for the past 5 years and has enjoyed learning more about them, getting coach certified, and being a huge supporter of the program. He leverages his top 5 strengths: WOO, Communication, Context, Positivity, and Harmony in both his professional and personal life. Aaron enjoys talking to others about their strengths, how to best use them when working with others, and in their own work.
