Peer Coaching with PALs

Your success is our "no excuse" priority and Peer Assistant Leaders (PALs) are here to help.

What are PALs?

PALs are current undergraduate student leaders, trained by professional Completion Specialists in the Office of Graduation and Retention Initiatives. As current students, PALs have created successful pathways at UH and are prepared to help other students create their own. Use the links below to schedule time with a PAL.

What is Peer Coaching?

Sometimes you don't know what questions to ask and other times you know the question but don't know who to ask. Through Peer Coaching, PALs provide one-on-one, individualized support during your time at UH.

Map point     Peer Coaching helps you understand how to navigate the complex pieces of being a student. PALs can help you grow your UH network and confidence as you discover your purpose at UH.


UH Flag     Sometimes knowing who to contact is what makes the difference. Your PALs will directly connect you to UH services and resources as needed.

 

Graduation cap     We want you to be successful. Peer Coaching enables you to identify meaningful goals, strategies to achieve them, and provides accountability along the way.

Peer Coaching is flexible and designed to meet students where they are at - we can connect in person or through online communication platforms. Use the links below to get started. The first conversation is informal so PALs can get to know individual student needs.
