Dear Cougars,

These are certainly exciting times here at the University of Houston – YOUR university.  I’m sure you were as proud as I was to see our football team defeat highly regarded Oklahoma State University recently and become nationally ranked for the first time in nearly two decades. That’s just one of many important developments taking place at UH, including the record-breaking enrollment of 37,000 students, research funding that passed the crucial $100-million mark for the first time ever and the upcoming vote on Proposition 4 to financially support our Tier One efforts. I wish I could visit with each of you personally to share all our wonderful news, but I hope this video is the next best thing.
