Alumni and Friends –

In a few weeks, I will complete two years as president of the University of Houston and chancellor of the UH System.  It has been, and continues to be, an incredibly rewarding journey, thanks in no small part to those of you who have shown such support and encouragement. During my recent Fall Address, I reflected on the many achievements that your university has been able to accomplish. As this gratifying year comes to a close, please allow me to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your continuing assistance, enthusiasm and friendship.

Students remain our top priority, and their success is our ultimate goal.  With your help, we have created an environment in which they learn, grow and become successful.  Our research and scholarship continue to break new ground and make this world a better place.  Please know that your support is valued, and your involvement is felt every day by thousands of students on this campus and our community in general.

During this festive season, I wish you all holiday cheer and smiles in abundance.  I hope you are able to relax and enjoy time with family and friends.  Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

Warm regards,

Renu Khator
