UH Holiday 2009 Break

The University of Houston will be on holiday Dec. 24, 2009–Jan. 3, 2010. All offices and most major operations will be closed, including the University Eye Institute and Campus Recreation and Wellness Center. The University of Houston Police Department will continue its regular operations, offering 24-hour patrol of the campus throughout the holiday.


The M.D. Anderson Library will be closed Dec. 24–Dec. 25 and Dec. 31–Jan. 1. The library will operate on reduced hours on all other days until classes resume Jan. 19. The Campus Recreation and Wellness Center will also operate on modified hours Jan. 4–Jan. 18.


Cougar Place, Calhoun Lofts, Cambridge Oaks, Cullen Oaks and Bayou Oaks will remain open to student residents during the winter holiday; however, Moody Towers and Quadrangle are closed until Jan. 14.
