
Costume Technology
MASTER OF FINE ARTS IN COSTUME TECHNOLOGY
The M.F.A. program in Costume Technology at UH is designed to train students to work professionally as drapers, tailors, and costume crafts artisans. Courses offered teach pattern making, garment construction techniques, hat making, mask making, fabric dying and painting and more. Costume Technology graduate students practice these skills through coursework, and through patterning and constructing costumes for UH School of Theatre & Dance productions.
