curated by Jennifer Teets

October 27, 2023—March 10, 2024

Intimate confession is a project is a group exhibition that considers transmission, intergenerational life, and cultural inheritance through the prism of intimacy and infrastructure. Through the work of eleven artists spanning generations and geographies, the exhibition thinks through infrastructure as an intimate holding cell, capable of affective and affirmative power.

AURA Contemporary Ensemble: Embracing Chaos

AURA: Embracing Chaos

An evening of chamber music that explores the beauty that exists amidst disorder.

Featuring works by Jonathan Harvey (United Kingdom), Gabriela Ortiz (Mexico), Krzysztof Penderecki (Poland), Peter Sculthorpe (Australia), Harry Stafylakis (USA), and Garth Stevenson (Canada).

AURA is a mixed chamber music ensemble featuring some of the most skilled student musicians at the Moores School of Music. Their innovative performances include the use of theatrical lighting, video, projections, and electronics as they seek to update the twenty-first century concert experience. The ensemble frequently collaborates with actors, authors, dancers, and visual artists, and is dedicated to presenting a wide variety of chamber music composed in the last two decades.
