Faculty Recital: Andrew Staupe, Piano

The Moores School of Music is proud to present a recital by our Assistant Professor of Piano, Andrew Staupe.

Pianist Andrew Staupe has enchanted audiences worldwide, performing with top orchestras like Baltimore, San Diego, and Houston Symphony. He has collaborated with esteemed conductors, gracing prestigious venues including Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw and Moscow’s Rachmaninov Hall. An avid chamber musician, he’s played with Bobby McFerrin and collaborated with composers like Howard Shore. Staupe, Assistant Professor at the University of Houston, is dedicated to teaching and artistic excellence. He’s also the Artistic Director of the Young Artist World Piano Festival in Minnesota and frequently offers master classes and lectures across the US. Staupe’s profound musical journey has taken him from Carnegie Hall to Garrison Keillor’s “A Prairie Home Companion.”
