SBIR & STTR Grant Support

Two key funding sources for early-stage innovators are the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. These federal grants provide non-dilutive funding to support R&D with strong commercial potential, especially valuable for university-led ventures.

Eligibility

• Must have completed the Innov8Hub Innovator to Founder program to access funding resources
• UH-affiliated ventures applying for SBIR/STTR or seeking early-stage capital
• Startups preparing to raise investment or pursue grants
• Founders with a validated business model and clear go-to-market strategy
