Shuhab Khan

Professor of Geology recommended for the Fulbright Specialist Roster after receiving the endorsement from the U.S.

Dr. Khan is involved in a wide range of leadership roles that has left a lasting impact on his students’ education. He currently teaches Environmental Field Research, Remote Sensing, and Geospatial Analysis and Applications, among many other courses. Dr. Khan has graduated 21 M.S. students, 10 Ph.D. students, and mentored countless graduate and undergraduate students in research. His research interests are geological remote sensing, tectonics, reservoir analog studies, and petroleum geology. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Khan serves as graduate advisor for the Earth and Atmospheric Sciences Department.

Dr. Khan earned a Ph.D. in Geosciences from the University of Texas, and a M.Phil. and M.S., both in Geology, from the University of Peshawar.”
