The Faculty Governance Committee is charged with regularly reviewing faculty governance within the University and the Faculty Senate and making recommendations on improvements when needed. The committee oversees the election of Faculty Senate members and its officers and recommends members of the faculty to serve on University standing committees. The FGC also leads the revision of the Faculty Handbook and, when needed acts as the impartial arbitrator and adjudicator resolving any dispute or controversy arising from the interpretation of the senate constitution.
