Alliances/Organizations: UH System supports alliances or organizations that focus on creating a fairly compensated, safe, skilled, and sustainable construction trade workforce as having a positive benefit to capital construction projects and the overall construction industry in the Greater Houston Region. Although not a contract requirement, UH System encourages construction contractors to participate in an alliance or organization where feasible, including for UH System large capital projects (>$10M), and promote the participation of their subcontractors on these projects.
