Monthly Outdoor Warning Siren Test
This is a monthly TEST of the outdoor warning siren system. In an actual emergency, the siren may be activated when it is unsafe to be outdoors. When you hear the siren, you should seek shelter indoors and check www.uh.edu/emergency for instruction and information. For more information, please visit the Outdoor Warning Siren System website.

OEM Outreach Table at CRASE Training
UHPD presents their monthly training on Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE). OEM will be present with an outreach table, giving out resources and items to help keep you safe and prepared.

Fall 2019 CERT Class
CERT is a training program that prepares you to help yourself, your family, and your neighbors in the event of a disaster. During an incident, emergency services personnel may not be able to reach everyone right away. By getting trained in CERT, you will have the skills to help emergency responders save lives and protect property. The course is two weekends in September and you must attend all days.
