Cullen Performance Hall enforces a clear bag policy to ensure safety for our guests. 

What is a Clear Bag at the Cullen Performance Hall?

• The Cullen Performance Hall clear bag must meet the following requirements:
  • The panels on all sides must be clear, transparent allowing all light to pass through. Customers are allowed to bring in 1 bag per person.
    • A clear bag may not have an inner liner, or another bag that conceals the contents of your clear bag. 
    • Items in your clear bag may be in another clear bag; that bag must be transparent allowing all light to pass through.
  • All contents of your bag must be visible and easily identifiable.
    • i.e., individual items that are not in another bag that are translucent or opaque.
  • Non-clear and any other color bag that is translucent or opaque are not clear bags and will not be approved to enter the facility.
  • Your clear bag may have print on the panels that is translucent or opaque, but it cannot cover the entire bag.
    • An example would be the "UH" logo on the bag.
  • You may have a transparent, translucent, or opaque wristlet inside your clear bag. 
    • A wristlet is no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" (WxL) and the thickness is no larger than 3.5". 
    • All wristlets are subject to search.

What is a small clutch?

• A small clutch must meet the following requirements:
  • A small clutch may be transparent, translucent, or opaque with or without a strap.
  • A small clutch is no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" (WxL), and the thickness is no larger than 3.5".
  • A clutch would open with no pockets inside.
    • It may have a small coin pocket in the liner. This pocket will need to be open for search.
  • All clutches are subject to search.

What is a billfold?

• A billfold must meet the following requirements:
  
  • Merriam-Webster defines a "billfold" as a folding pocketbook for paper and money.
  • This may include Photo ID, Credit Cards, or similar items. 
  • A billfold is no larger than 6" x 9" (WxL).
  • All billfolds are subject to search.

What are restricted bags at the Cullen Performance Hall?

• Restricted bags are as follows:
  
  • All bags of any size that are translucent or opaque are not clear bags and will not be granted access to enter the Cullen Performance Hall.
    • The following list is not an all-inclusive list:
      • Backpacks, bags, briefcases, bursas, carryalls, cases, clutches, duffel bags, fanny packs, frames, gear bags, handbags, haversacks, mesh bags, miaudieres, moneybags, oversized wallets, packets, pouches, reticules, sacks, satchels, suitcases, and totes, will not be granted access to the Cullen Performance Hall

Clear Bag Policy:

• A clear bag at 12"x6"x12" (LxWxH) or 1 Gallon sized ziploc bag or a small clutch at 4.5"x6.5" (LxW) no thicker than 3.5".
• Wristlets must not be over 4.5"x6.5" (LxW) no thicker than 3.5".
• Billfolds must not be over 6"x9" (LxW).
