Dear Spring and Summer 2020 Comparative Cultural Studies Graduates,

Congratulations, graduates of the Department of Comparative Cultural Studies of the Class of 2020! This has been a year like no other in any of our lives.  Although you have each been challenged with the frightful and tragic hardships of the deadly pandemic as well as the resultant economic crisis, you will nonetheless always be able to celebrate the fact that 2020 was the monumental year when you earned your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.  It will be a lasting testament to your achievements.

I am confident that you will continue to persevere and thrive, and I am hopeful that you will always treasure the enrichment of your education in this department and our programs in Anthropology, Liberal Studies, and Religious Studies.

In my capacity as the Chair of the Department of Comparative Cultural Studies, and on behalf of all of your CCS professors and advisors, I salute you.
