HHP Students Win Awards at TACSM

HHP graduate students along with Dr. Brian McFarlin attended the 2008 TACSM annual meeting in Odessa, Texas. Lisa Esposito won the student development grant competition ($500) at the Master's level and Kelley Strohacker won the student development grant competition ($1000) at the Doctoral level to support research proposals that they wrote. The purpose of TACSM is to fulfill the objectives and purposes of ACSM as appropriate at the regional level. ACSMis a multi-disciplinary professional and scientific society dedicated to the generation and dissemination of knowledge concerning the motivations, responses, adaptations and health aspects of persons engaged in sport and exercise.
