Ways to Give

When you make a gift to the University of Houston, you help UH have a significant impact—on our students, on our community, and on the world.

There are many ways to make your gift, ranging from online giving to including the University in your estate plans. Whichever method you choose, you may give an unrestricted gift to be used for an area of greatest need, or you may choose to support a specific program or college.

Giving can take the following forms:

Gifts of cash
Include online giving by credit card, giving by mail, automatic deductions from your bank account, and more.

Gifts of stock or securities
Gifts of appreciated securities are a meaningful way to support the University of Houston and may offer tax advantages for you and your family.

To initiate a gift of securities or to request instructions, please contact Gift Administration at gifts1@central.uh.edu or (713) 743-8910. A member of our team will assist you with next steps and ensure your gift is properly acknowledged.

Matching gifts
Double (or triple!) the impact of your gift. https://giveto.uh.edu/ways-to-give/

Planned gifts
If you're interested in supporting UH through a planned gift (a bequest, charitable gift annuity, pooled income fund, charitable trust, etc.) or if you'd like to speak to someone about your estate planning, please contact the Office of Gift and Estate Planning at (713) 743-3573 or giftplanning@uh.edu.
