On-Campus Housing

The Language and Culture Center encourages students to live on campus for convenience and accommodation to campus. The on-campus housing rates include a fully furnished room, all utilities, local telephone service, Internet service, and Philo TV. Access to computer labs, laundry facilities, and vending areas is also included. Housing staff are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Housing Options

Meal Plans

Students residing in Moody Towers, Cougar Village I, Cougar Village II, and Cougar Place are required by the Residential Services Agreement to purchase a meal plan. Please visit the Meal Plan Terms and Conditions website for further information. For meal plan rates, please visit the Dining Services website.

Apply for Housing

Follow the steps below to apply for on-campus housing:

  1. Visit access.uh.edu and click the MyUH Login tab. Use your seven-digit myUH ID (student ID) to log into your univerity account. You may find your myUH ID on your acceptance letter issued by the LCC. 
    • If you don't know your password, click Reset your myUH Password, enter your myUH ID, and reset password.
  2. Click the myHousing icon and submit an application for housing. 
  3. Pay am application fee of $50. 
  4. Receive and electronically sign the Residential Hall Service Housing Agreement.
  5. Find a roommate via RoomSync.
  6. Select your bed space.

Housing Agreement Facts

When you sign a Housing Agreement for the semester beginning in August, you are agreeing to stay in University Housing for two semesters: Fall and Spring. If you leave University Housing at the end of the Fall semester, you will be charged a breach-of-contract penalty unless you have graduated from the LCC Level 6 and you are leaving the University of Houston at the end of Fall.
