The Book Completion Fund is intended to provide CLASS faculty assistance with the final stages of their research, including subvention for scholarly publications, data processing, etc. Selected applicants will be awarded funds based on the academic merit of their work.

The Research Progress Grant for Early Career faculty is intended to provide assistance in furthering faculty research projects. Individuals are eligible for up to $4,000 while groups are eligible for up to $12,000 (maximum of 3 applicants).

The division of research's Grants to Enhance and Advance Research (GEAR) program is now open. The pre-proposal process will be facilitated through each respective college. Pre-proposals are due by 5 p.m., November 3, 2023 to classgrt@uh.edu.
