Off Campus Events FAQ

Yes, as the Cougar Experience Board is a University-Sponsored Organization, we are funded through Student Fees. We choose to be mindful of event attendance so that students within the UH community can have a great experience while at the University of Houston. 

Payment Instructions: 

1. Department: Cougar Experience Board
2. Payment type: Payment
3. Invoice Number: PSID Number
4. Total Payment Amount: Amount depends on the event amount (please see event details)
5. Click Next - Enter Payment information
6. Once the fee is paid, PLEASE SEND A CONFIRMATION TO Kaitlin McMaryion, kemcmary@cougarnet.uh.edu

There will be a specified cut-off deadline for payment before the event; refer to the event registration for details. If there are still spots available, we will notify students of the limited number of spots for payment leading up to the event. 

Yes, a copy of the waiver will be available for your signature. Please ask a CEB executive leader or the CEB advisor for a physical copy. 

Payment for the event will cover food, transportation, and/or tickets for events, depending on the event. 

No, CEB will cover your transportation, and for risk management purposes, we ask you to travel to and from with the transportation provided. 

Unless communicated otherwise to the CEB advisor (ex. an emergency), you will not be allowed to leave the event early, as we will be taking the same transportation 

It is up to your discretion to purchase other items not paid for by the University. This does not include alcohol. 

As CEB is a University-Sponsored Organization, we ask that you refrain from purchasing alcohol during the duration of the event.
