Research
The Computational Biomedicine Lab (CBL) at the University of Houston (UH) is hiring for multiple research positions for undergraduate and master's students, PhD students, and postdocs. Highly qualified high school students may also be eligible for summer internships. Both paid and unpaid positions are available.
Required Qualifications
We are currently seeking strong candidates to join our research group with the following qualifications:
All applicants
- A track record of working on research projects/publications, either through thesis, coursework, internships, or personal projects
- Proficiency in any commonly used programming languages
- Experience or familiarity with AI and Machine Learning
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling challenging research problems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, as collaboration is a key aspect of our research group
Postdoc applicants
- PhD in computer science or a closely related field
PhD applicants
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related field
- Application to the CBL should be made a minimum of several weeks before the UH deadline for the applicable PhD program
Master's applicants
- Current enrollment at the UH as a master's student in computer science or a closely related field
Undergraduate applicants
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student in computer science or a closely related field
