Simple Syllabus is a centralized, template-driven platform that enables instructors to quickly personalize and publish interactive class syllabi.

Purpose

Syllabi for all courses with specific exceptions (see below) are required by state law. University of Houston policy requires that syllabi are posted in Simple Syllabus.

• ALL sections (undergraduate and graduate) must have a published syllabus, excluding independent study, thesis, dissertation, internships, field trips, practicums, seminars, rotations, 0-credit labs, etc.  Exceptions for other sources not in the preceding list can be requested from the Dean of the Graduate School or the Associate Provost for Undergraduate Student Success
• Syllabi should be posted four weeks prior and no later than the first week of class.
