The University of Houston Writing Center is a student service whose mission is to assist undergraduate and graduate students with their writing. We work with students from all majors and at all stages of their writing process. Whether students have just started writing or are already making revisions, we are here to help. Our trained writing consultants come from a variety of disciplines and academic backgrounds and can assist students in one-on-one, face-to-face sessions or through real-time online consultations. The Writing Center also offers workshops, class presentations, and events each semester to help students understand different types of writing.
