• Summer 6W2 Students - Access to courses starts on Monday, July 6.
• Most Summer 2009 courses use Blackboard Vista!
  • Blackboard Vista and WebCT Vista are separate systems with different usernames and passwords.
  • For Blackboard Vista, your user name is your 7-digit PeopleSoft ID.
  • For WebCT Vista, your user name is your Cougarnet ID.
  • Check which Vista system your Summer course uses on the Blackboard/WebCT Vista Course/Section Finder.
  • New users - for both Blackboard and WebCT
    • Initial password format is your birthdate as mmddyyx! where x is first initial of last name and exclamation point is required at end.
    • First time you log in, you will have to change your password and log in again with the new password.
  • Returning users - for both Blackboard and WebCT
    • Your password is whatever you last set it to.
    • If you don't remember your password, you can request a password reset.
    • Allow 30-60 minutes for reset to take effect.
• Late Registration and Late Adds are loaded into Blackboard or WebCT once a day at 3 am. If you don't see a course yet, check again the next day.
• Recommendation - Delay using IE8 and Safari 4 browsers until they are supported with Blackboard Vista 8 or WebCT Vista 3. To see supported browsers, go to the Browser Tune-Up.
