Web & New Media Communications is a part of the Division of University Marketing, Communication, and Media relations. We serve as resources for the University of Houston website, social media and external e-communications.
Who we are
The Web Team is responsible for devising and executing technology solutions for the University’s content management system, third-party applications, user experience and design, and online marketing initiatives. They work with internal stakeholders to create a technical roadmap that delivers an industry leading Web experience for prospective and current students, parents, faculty and staff, community members, and industry leaders.
The New Media Communications Team maintains the main UH social media sites and manages the iModules external email system. They also serve to educate departments on how to use these digital communications channels to best deliver messages.
