VITAL Project Presentations in Second Life

Students from four HHP classes will be presenting their research on Nov 13th, 14th and 15th in the virtual world of Second Life as part of the VITAL project. Check out the schedule for a list of presenters, titles and presentation times.

VITAL is an acronym for the Virtual Immersive Translational Applied Learning (VITAL) Project. The VITAL project is an innovative and unique, cross-course project involving students from courses within the HHP Department. The goal of this project is to promote collaboration and peer-based learning using technologically advanced techniques enhancing accessibility and learning opportunities through Second Life.

Second Life is a three dimensional, virtual, immersive world where VITAL Team Members collaborate with their Team Lead to complete a VITAL showcase presentation.

Presentations are open to the general public, If you do not already have a Second Life account, you must visit the Second Life website to create a free account and download the viewer software. Then visit HHP's island (you need to be logged into Second life for link to work) in Second life.
