  • Academic Year 2022-23 IMPACT Accomplishments by Program Area: STUDENT SERVICES • Residential and Retail Dining: Implemented residential cultural event series and focused on submitting for external awards, winning NASPA Silver, being recognized by Green Restaurant Association, and recognition for Chef Chad, with gold award at NACUFS. • UH Campus Store: Successfully completed one year of the pilot Cougar Textbook Access Program, providing significant savings to students. • Snack and Beverage Vending: Focused on engagement events and sampling, such as the Coke Dream Event. CAMPUS SERVICES • Catering: Revamped the catering program and menu, and reintroduced the community to the program in a post-COVID environment. • Cougar Card ID Services: Implemented a new enterprise card system to better facilitate the transition to mobile credentials. • Copy, Print, and Delivery Services: Implemented Phase 1 of enterprise software to create efficiencies with project billing and expanded the package and mail locker program to campus departments. • Parking and Transportation Services: Implemented Virtual Parking Permits to create efficiencies and reduce expenses. ARTS AND CULTURE • Cullen Performance Hall: Completed lighting and sound system upgrades and re-captured external events. • Public Art of the University of Houston System: Created and implemented comprehensive K-12 education and outreach programming, working with area school administrators and campus partners in College of the Arts and Dr. Contreras-Vidal in the BRAIN Center.
  • Academic Year 2022-23 IMPACT Outcomes by Program Area: STUDENT SERVICES • Residential and Retail Dining: 2,022,267 residential and 1,718,267 retail transactions to date. • UH Campus Store: $2.54 million in student course materials savings this academic year with Cougar Textbook Access. • Snack and Beverage Vending: 486,740 vending transactions this academic year. CAMPUS SERVICES • Catering: 55% average campus market share for UH events. • Cougar Card ID Services: 17,399 active students, faculty, and staff requested a physical card. • Copy, Print, and Delivery Services: 91% average campus print project market share and 73% of campus mail and packages delivered through the campus lockers, with 76% of mail and packages picked up by customers within 24 hours of delivery to lockers. • 50% of students, faculty, and staff have a parking permit, more than $1 million in gross parking event revenues this year. ARTS AND CULTURE • Cullen Performance Hall: 15,773 attendees year to date at ticketed events in FY2023. • Public Art UHS: More than 2,700 attendees at outreach, education, and events.
