Houston City Council to Honor UH’s Bonnie Dunbar and UH STEM Center

Former NASA astronaut Bonnie J. Dunbar was recruited to head the UH STEM Center in January, leading the center’s mission to help provide Houston with the science, technology, engineering and math workforce it will need in the future. The UH STEM Center and Dunbar will be honored by the Houston City Council Tuesday, Dec. 3, for their work.

WHO:               Bonnie J. Dunbar, director of the University of Houston STEM Center, will be honored by Mayor Annise Parker and Council Member Melissa Noriega.
