University Information Technology (UIT) is pleased to present its Support Standards. The standards were developed by Technology Support Services staff in collaboration with IT staff from various segments of the University.
These standards are designed to convey the support criteria and guidelines the UIT Support Center will utilize in addressing hardware and software support issues for the University community.
In addition, the document identifies available software, hardware, and computing resources support, recommended computing practices, and training opportunities related to supported software applications and operating systems.
The services described are offered in addition to the services provided by your department's local or distributed support staff.

This is a dynamic document, continually changing to respond to the introduction of new products and technologies, the retirement of older ones, and the changing landscape of IT at the University.
