Collaborate with Microsoft Teams - Windows
All of the following tools are available in a Microsoft Teams Meeting. Schedule a meeting in minutes. Or have a Microsoft Teams Meeting in seconds.

Start a one-on-one or group chat to communicate with other Teams users. 1. Select Chat from the Teams navigation pane.
3. In the To: field, enter the name of the recipient. 4. Select the person to start a new chat with. 5. Type your message in the message area. 6. Select Send.

To share your screen:
1. During a call or meeting, select Share (the screen-sharing icon) from the meeting controls.
![]() 2. Under Screen, select the screen you want to share.

1. While sharing, select Give control from the sharing toolbar. 2. Select the participant you want to give control to. 3. To regain control, select Take back or Stop sharing.

Use the Polls app in Microsoft Teams to gather feedback, collect responses, or conduct
a quick vote in a chat, group chat, or channel.
To conduct a poll:
1. Open the chat, group chat, or channel where you want to create the poll. 4. Click New poll. 6. Enter your question and response options. |
You can turn on your camera during a Microsoft Teams meeting to share video with other
participants. If your camera is connected and available, other meeting attendees will
be able to see your video feed.
To turn on video during a meeting:

Note: A notification will appear to all participants indicating that recording has started. Recording Indicator: The red dot indicates that meeting recording is currently in progress.
