NSSE for Students: Accessing the Survey
At University of Houston we want our students to have the best educational experience possible, and the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) helps by providing vital information about activities in and out of the classroom. Your participation is critical. The university hopes you will complete NSSE—an opportunity only available to first-year and senior students.
In appreciation for participating, students who complete the survey will be automatically entered in a random drawing to win one of five pairs of Bose QuietComfort wireless headphones (worth $200). Drawings will be held periodically throughout the survey period. Your chances of winning depend on how many complete the survey; the last time we administered this survey about 1280 students responded.
How to complete the NSSE Survey (Step-by-step guide)
Step 1: Check your CougarNet Email
Look for an email from nsse@nssesurvey.org.
Step 2: Click the survey link
It will take you directly to the survey page
Step 3: Complete all sections
The survey takes about 10-15 minutes
Step 4: Submit for a chance to win Bose headphones

Use your CougarNet access
Step 2: Look for the NSSE announcement message
You will find it on your Dashboard page
